I can't believe we've been married five years now! Time really does fly by. Saturday, we celebrated the occasion by going out to eat, toddler free, and then having dessert at the Melting Pot! Yummy! It was so wonderful to go on a date, to get dressed up etc. It has been such a wonderful five years and we are looking forward to many more!
Other news includes the fact that I am getting bigger, as you can tell, and now have less than three months to go, my c-section date being August 5. Counting down, can you tell? I am so very excited to get little Madeleine here and am very happy to say that I have everything ready for her. I just need a baby girl now!
Jacob is cure growing up and has such a sweet little heart. Funny story, though. Two Sundays ago Matt took him out of the bathtub and was finishing getting ready for his Sunday morning meetings, forgetting to put a diaper on the little guy. So a few minutes later, Jacob comes running into the bathroom right up to me, holding two little brown objects, one in each hand. Needless to say, they were not toys and my first impulse was to reach out and take them from him. That was until I realized what they were! Eww! Matt and I just laughed and Matt said to Jacob, "Way to bring it in Jay!" Toddlers will sure give you laughs!
Matt just started his Oral Surgery Externship here at the hospital and, so far, he is really enjoying it. He is even getting to go to the operating room and watch some really interesting procedures.
Anyway, we hope everyone is having a wonderful spring!

Hi! I got your blog address from your comment you posted on our blog. I'm not sure if we are related or not. My Matt's family are all from Cincinnati, OH. He said that as far back as he knows (which would be his great grandfather on his Dad's side) is a George Steuer from Cincinnati. Too funny that you saw us on the blogs. You'll have to talk with your husband and let me know if we maybe are related. Nice to chat!
