Well, turns out we may get Madeleine here before this weekend, most likely this Friday or Monday, so I'm scurrying around trying to get my house ready for the event. Matt's parents are coming in on Thursday night so I'm busy trying to have everything done. Maddie is measuring small still and the doctor feels that if the lungs are developed there is no point in keeping her in there where she can come out and get fed and grow faster. The bottom line is that it is the safest and lowest risk scenario from a medical standpoint, just in case she isn't getting enough food or able to grow as well in there. They did an amnniocentesis yesterday and so we're just awaiting the lab results to see if her lungs are ready. If so, we'll be having her this weekend or next Monday or Tuesday. If not, I guess more waiting!

Thanks for letting us know! How was the amnio...(sp?). My sister had to have one and it went well, but scary at the same time hoping that her baby would move and get hurt. I guess I am going to have to get busy so that I have your gifts to you quickly. Good luck with the next few days and I hope Maddie does great and everything goes smoothly. Love you!!!

Lucky!! I would have given ANYTHING to have Grant earlier. He was a week over, and made me pay for every MINUTE he was in there longer. The booger. Good luck! Sounds like your doctor has a great handle on things.
