It is so nice that fall is finally here! The weather has officially cooled and it is so much fun to be outside. On Saturday night Matt and I took the kids over to the Zoo for the annual Halloween bash where there was trick or treating, costumes, and lots of fun themes. If you can guess what he was from the one photo here, you'll probably laugh. Otherwise, we want to wait until the Maxfields party to really show it. It really was hilarious though!
Life is going great! Madeleine is finally sleeping eight hours at night which has made my life so much easier and more enjoyable! I feel like a new person, really!
Also, last week all our family came in town, as in both sets of parents, my grandma, and two of my sisters, for Madeleine's special blessing day. It was soooo wonderful to have them all here and I felt pretty sad when everyone had to leave! We had a wonderful time together and also went to Lincoln's birthplace on Saturday together which was wonderful. We really love and miss our families!
Matt has heard from a few schools for Oral Surgery interviews, which is exciting. He will be going on those primarily in November.
So we hope everyone is having a happy October!

How fun to have so much family in town for Madeleine's blessing. When Matt's gone, let me know if you're bored (Brad'll be out of town the 13-15th of November) and our Jacobs can get together and play.
Hey Matt and Susanna this is Dave Broadbent. Jodi found your guys's blog. You guys look great. Congratulations on the new baby she is a cutie.
Wow, congrats! We're so far out of the loop we didn't even know you were expecting again! She's beautiful, of course.
