I just thought of the words to that hymn "happy are we" when I posted this photo of our little family because we really are! Madeleine is such a bright spot in all our lives and, although I feel tired and cranky at times, we are so thankful to have a new little daughter and a sweet, wonderful son. We can't believe our time in Kentucky is waning and we only have 9 months left! Sad! We have had so much fun here, made so many wonderful friends and memories, and brought two of our children home here which will make the move quite sentimental. It will be an adventure to see where we go next!

You have such a beautiful family! Susanna you are just gorgeous and look so good after having a baby. So John turns in his neurosurgery applications in a week and a half. I'm so nervous, scared, and excited. You'll have to let me know where Matt is applying for Oral Surgery. It would be so fun to end up in the same place. We'll have to chat soon.
let's make a pact to never move on!!! We can stay neighbors forever! :) what would I do without you?
