After the Storm!

We had a huge ice storm in Kentucky last week and our power was out for five days. If you think that is bad, we had friends whose power was out for over a week and a half! So while our power was off, our dear friends here took care of us, inviting us over for hot meals each night before we huddled by the fire in our freezing home to sleep. When our power came back on, we played "host" and had some friends over, feeling horrible all the while that they still were out of power!
Thank goodness all that passed and EVERYONE has power again.
Life is going wonderfully! Boston is sinking in more and more each day as we prepare to put our home on the market (which will be quite a project). Our house is going to look better for showings than it has while we lived in it! We are even painting the kitchen, the master bath and putting in new kitchen floors (long overdo!). All in all, it will be a huge project, but worth it if it sells quickly.
We have been talking around to people in Boston (thanks to Heidi Maxfield and other friends) and, lo and behold, there is another LDS Oral Surgery Resident at BU, our age, with two little boys! We are so excited we won't be alone!
We can't believe the time is winding down here and are sure going to miss our friends we've made here. It's too sad to think about!
